Job summary

CloudKeeper is building a Kubernetes optimization platform that keeps clusters lean automatically—right-sizing workloads and managing nodes without manual intervention. This hands-on Go controller-author role focuses on CRDs, controllers, admission/mutating webhooks, and a time-series layer for percentile-based sizing.

You'll work in a small engineering team building distributed systems that integrate deeply with the Kubernetes control plane.

Qualifications

• B.Tech / B.E / MCA in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 5+ years building backend or infrastructure software.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes-based platforms or cloud-native systems.

Responsibilities

• Build the workload right-sizing recommender using historical usage and percentile sizing.
• Implement safe automatic application of corrections to live workloads with staged rollout and rollback.
• Build node-side optimization for provisioning, consolidation, and bin-packing for efficient cluster utilisation.
