Job summary

Net2Source (N2S) seeks a Software Development Engineer for a 6+ month onsite contract in Santa Clara, CA. The role focuses on building a scalable simulation framework to model thousands of nodes, without hardware constraints, using Golang and cloud-native microservices.

Candidates should have 8+ years in enterprise software design and development, strong CS fundamentals, and experience with AI-assisted coding tools like Claude Code, Codex or Cursor. Onsite work 4–5 days.

Qualifications

• Experience using Golang for enterprise-grade software
• Proficient with Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures
• AI-assisted development with Claude Code, Codex or Cursor
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms and design patterns

Responsibilities

• Create a simulation framework for Portworx Enterprise Control Plane to run clusters of thousands of nodes without hardware constraints
• Refactor and redesign internal product interfaces to enable simulation and remove hardware dependency
• Recommend and implement clean software abstractions in the product
• Experiment with new technologies to push state-of-the-art and innovate solutions
