Job summary

Netris, Inc. is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to shape the AI networking foundation. You will lead the design and development of distributed infrastructure agents running across servers and advanced NIC/DPU environments.

The role requires deep Linux networking expertise, strong Golang production experience, and a track record in architecting scalable, observable systems. Remote-friendly with on-site preference in Santa Clara, CA.

Qualifications

5+ years in infrastructure or systems engineering.
Strong production Golang experience.
Deep Linux networking internals knowledge.
Experience with BGP, VXLAN/EVPN, NAT and ACLs.
Experience building distributed, agent-based architectures.
Strong debugging in production environments.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture and development of Golang infrastructure agents.
Build systems managing L2/L3 networking, routing, VXLAN/EVPN, NAT, ACLs, and policy.
Design telemetry, observability, monitoring pipelines.
Implement resilient gRPC and event-driven communications.
Ensure agents operate across servers, switches, and SmartNIC/DPU environments.
Optimize performance, resiliency, and scalability; mentor engineers.
