Job summary

Global Channel Managementinc is seeking a Senior Go Developer to advance Genetec OmniCast based platforms and backend services. You will own distributed backend architectures and collaborate with frontend teams to deliver robust solutions.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years with Go, plus Docker and Kubernetes, RESTful services, and a strong SDLC/Agile mindset. On-site role based in Marlborough, MA, offering an engaging, security-focused product environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 6-8+ years of related work experience
• 4+ years developing with Go
• 3+ years developing distributed applications
• 3+ years developing using frontend JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Vue), CSS, HTML5
• 1+ year experience with document databases or graph databases is a plus
• 1+ year experience using Docker to containerize applications
• Experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestrators
• Experienced in developing RESTful web services
• Proficient in PowerShell
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Ansible
• Solid knowledge of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
• Experience with Genetec Omnicast and Synergis is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
• Java
• Well-versed in Go programming and distributed application development

Responsibilities

• Analyze, customize, configure, debug, test, and implement changes within Genetec OmniCast products
• Create detailed technical specifications, test plans, and deployment instructions
• Supervise and assist with defect triage and resolution during QA/UAT
• Ensure compliance with development standards including source control and security coding
• Conduct and supervise code reviews and documentation reviews
• Provide implementation and post-implementation defect resolution assistance
