Job summary

Uber Technologies Inc. is seeking a Sr Software Engineer for the Code Lifecycle team within the Developer Platform organization. You will own Uber's code hosting, review, and search platforms, building Go-based tooling and leading end-to-end projects from design to production.

You will drive testing, monitoring, and incident response while focusing on developer experience across thousands of engineers, with a strong emphasis on reliability and scalability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with Go and distributed systems
• Proven track record delivering production-ready code with strong monitoring and operability
• Experience owning projects through full lifecycle: scope, design, delivery, production support

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve Uber's code hosting, code review, and code search platforms for a green main branch across the monorepo.
• Design, build, and maintain Go-based tooling for the code review workflow including the SubmitQueue and automated checks.
• Drive end-to-end projects from problem framing to production rollout and ongoing operations.
• Define and enforce testing, monitoring, and alerting standards; track metrics and lead incident response.
• Improve developer experience by measuring and refining workflows for thousands of engineers.
