Job summary

REW Technology Inc. is seeking a Senior Go Engineer to develop and maintain an enterprise workflow platform on AWS, using Temporal for durable workflows and AI-assisted specs and testing.

You will build Go services, APIs and integrations, and help guide architecture with a focus on quality and leadership as the project evolves. You will work on a modular distributed architecture with Kafka, Aurora and TM Forum Open APIs, collaborating with architects to translate requirements into testable

Qualifications

• Strong Go experience with concurrency and maintainable service design.
• Experience building distributed services, APIs and asynchronous/event-driven apps.
• Understanding of workflow state, retries, timeouts, idempotency and failure recovery.
• SQL experience with schema changes and migrations.
• Automated testing incl. component/integration tests with mocks or stubs.
• Debugging and code-review skills for large codebases.
• Cloud experience with Git, PRs and automated checks.
• Ability to resolve unclear requirements with architects/client teams.
• Willingness to use AI tools and validate their output.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Go services, APIs and reusable platform components.
• Build Temporal workflows and reusable tasks using existing components.
• Clarify requirements with architects and translate into specs and test criteria.
• Implement API and messaging integrations with validation and async handling.
• Write and maintain automated tests for components, workflows and integrations.
• Review AI-generated specs, code, tests and schema changes for correctness.
• Investigate issues across workflows, integrations, databases and cloud services.
• Coordinate releases and database migrations with platform engineers.
• Share knowledge, review PRs and mentor other engineers.
