Job summary

Offchain is pioneering blockchain scalability and security, building the KMS-based wallet infrastructure for non‑custodial, smart‑account wallets. You’ll own production Go services, advance cryptographic recovery and trust models, and work in a high‑ownership team with external security audits.

The role emphasizes security‑critical infrastructure, API design, and scalable operations within a remote‑first environment with strong review processes.

Qualifications

• Backend Go engineer with production experience
• Security‑minded with threat modeling
• Experience designing robust APIs and service boundaries
• Familiar with Kubernetes and cloud-native operations

Responsibilities

• Build and operate Go services powering wallet creation, authentication, and signing at scale
• Design and maintain key recovery and trust models across committees
• Work with TEEs and hardware-isolation concepts for secure key material
• Integrate authentication providers and signing services (WebAuthn, OAuth, OTP, sessions)
• Prepare design docs and engage with security auditors to ensure code quality
• Monitor and operate production services with Kubernetes, observability, and incident response
