Job summary

Teleport is seeking product-focused systems engineers to contribute to Teleport Core Product. You will tackle performance, security, networking, and integrations issues, delivering Go-based code and collaborating across teams to improve scalability.

You will work with customers to understand problems, write design proposals, implement and test solutions, and document outcomes. The role emphasizes open source contributions and a builder mindset.

Qualifications

• Extensive Go experience.
• Extensive experience developing scalable, reliable, and performant distributed systems and platforms.
• Linux systems engineering experience.
• Knowledge of Identity Management, RBAC, ABAC, and zero-trust security models.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert on scalability, performance, and reliability of Teleport in large deployments.
• Design, develop, and ship outstanding, high-quality products.
• Write most of the code in Go.
• Closely collaborate with other teams at Teleport on scalability and performance.
• Work directly with our customers to diagnose and remediate performance issues.
• Grow your technical expertise.
