Job summary

Proxify is seeking Senior Go developers to join a new product development initiative. You will build a new platform from the ground up, focusing on backend engineering with Golang and collaborating with the existing engineering team.

The role sits in the financial technology space, enabling businesses to offer flexible payment and leasing options for hardware and equipment. This is a long-term, full-time remote engagement with cutting-edge technologies and real-world impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Go in production systems.
• Strong concurrency, goroutines, and Go internals.
• Experience building RESTful and/or gRPC services.
• Distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container/orchestration tools.
• Experience writing automated tests (unit/integration).
• Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Go (Golang).
• Build scalable, reliable, and high-performance distributed systems.
• Collaborate closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Optimize applications for performance, latency, and throughput.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making.
• Debug and troubleshoot production issues in complex systems.
• Work in an agile environment and follow modern development practices.
