Job summary

Synechron is seeking an experienced Golang Developer to support technology initiatives for our project. The ideal candidate will have strong system-level programming expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience developing high-performance, scalable applications in a Linux environment.

This role involves working closely with engineering, infrastructure, and business teams to build and enhance mission-critical financial technology platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Extensive experience with C and C++ programming.
• Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and OOP.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
• Knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, memory management, and performance tuning.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and software development best practices.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust applications using Golang, C, and C++.
• Build high-performance, low-latency, and scalable backend systems.
• Participate in the architecture, design, and implementation of distributed systems.
• Optimize application performance, memory management, and system efficiency.
• Develop multithreaded and concurrent applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices are followed
• Work with APIs, messaging systems, databases, and cloud-based technologies as required.
• Prepare technical documentation and provide support for application releases and deployments.
