RTX in Pasadena seeks a Guidance, Navigation, and Control Analyst (Principal Systems Engineer) to lead high‑fidelity modeling of electromechanical actuators and sensors, supporting risk reduction and requirement development. You will translate complex models into low‑fidelity surrogates for system simulations, validate against testbed data, and deliver rapid study results with plots and presentations to sponsors.

U.S. citizenship is required and a TS/SCI clearance is necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 8+ years of engineering experience.
• Proficiency with Matlab/Simulink and C programming.
• Experience in signal processing and high-bandwidth mechatronics.

Responsibilities

• Develop high‑fidelity simulations of electromechanical actuators and sensors.
• Validate models against testbed data to ensure accuracy.
• Create surrogate models for integrated system simulations.
• Deliver rapid study results with plots and presentations.
• Maintain the main simulation environment for stakeholders.
