Lanteris Space Systems seeks a GNC Senior Manager in Palo Alto to lead the 300 Product Line. You will oversee design, analysis, testing, and implementation of GNC algorithms and orbital analysis while managing a team of engineers.

Responsibilities include setting technical strategy, coordinating with senior leadership, and ensuring quality of GNC flight software and HITL testing. Strong leadership and space GNC track record required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace (Space), Astronautics, Mechanical (Dynamics), Electrical (Controls), Physics (Astrodynamics, Orbits), Applied Math or related field.
• 12 years of related industry experience in space GNC systems.
• 5 years of people management experience.
• Proven track record of leading successful spacecraft GNC programs.

Responsabilités

• Lead and mentor a team of GNC engineers across multiple experience levels.
• Define technical strategy and roadmap for GNC 300 product line.
• Manage resource allocation, hiring, and performance evaluations.
• Interface with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Drive innovation in GNC technology and methodologies.
• Oversee spacecraft attitude control system performance analysis.
• Guide simulation and modeling of GNC algorithms.
• Review telemetry data analysis from on-orbit spacecraft.
• Ensure quality of GNC flight software components.
• Oversee hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) testing activities.
• Participate in proposal development and business planning.
• Establish and maintain technical standards and best practices.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Present technical strategies to executive leadership.
