Lanteris Space LLC seeks a Staff GNC Engineer in Palo Alto, CA to design, analyze, and test spacecraft GNC algorithms and orbital analyses. You will develop flight software components, create MATLAB/Simulink models, and generate technical documentation for review across teams.

You will perform HITL testing, model sensors and actuators, and collaborate with Flight Software and Systems Engineering to drive robust GNC solutions.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Space Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 5 years of related industry experience in spacecraft GNC systems; PhD may count for 2 years.
• Strong understanding of GNC principles and orbital mechanics.
• Experience with full lifecycle GNC development.

Responsabilidades

• Independently design, analyze, and test GNC algorithms and orbital analysis.
• Develop GNC flight software components and MATLAB/Simulink models.
• Create and validate tests, documentation, and analysis reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentors junior engineers.
• Perform HITL testing and develop sensor/actuator models.
