Job summary

Katalyst is seeking a GNC-focused engineer to support trade studies, build simulations, and validate 6-DoF tools. You will collaborate on system-level integration and assist with data processing and algorithm evaluation, contributing to rapid hardware-in-the-loop and real-time tasks.

The ideal candidate has a engineering degree and 3+ years in guidance, navigation, and control, with Python, C/C++, Git, and Linux experience. This role requires startup agility and strong problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering field.
• 3+ years in guidance, navigation, and control: modeling and simulation.
• Trajectory or path planning experience.
• Classical or modern control of dynamical systems.
• Python for modeling and simulation applications.
• Experience with GNC sensors or control algorithms.
• Ability to work in fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support GNC algorithm trade studies.
• Build simulation environments and prototype algorithms.
