Job summary

Axiom Space is seeking a Senior GNC Engineer to design and implement control systems for space vehicles, working at our Space Station Development Facility. You will develop GNC algorithms, simulate, validate, and translate them into flight-ready software, coordinating with hardware and embedded teams.

Ideal candidates have 4–9 years in attitude control, strong MATLAB/Simulink proficiency, and experience with PID/LQR/MPC methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field required.
• 4-9 years of experience in GNC or attitude control systems.
• Experience with attitude control system development and validation.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and implement GNC algorithms for flight vehicles.
• Develop and refine control laws using PID, LQR, MPC and adaptive control.
• Perform 6-DOF modeling, simulation, and performance analysis.
• Translate GNC algorithms into flight-ready software with real-time performance.
• Collaborate with embedded software teams for hardware-in-the-loop testing.
