Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security’s Air Dominance division is seeking Experienced or Senior level GNC Engineers in Hazelwood, MO. You will contribute to flight control design, modeling and test activities across programs such as F‑15, F/A‑18, MQ‑25 and T‑7A, shaping the future of air dominance.

The role emphasizes cross‑disciplinary collaboration, design reviews, and implementation of control laws, with opportunities to mentor others and drive system-level validation and real-time testing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
5+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
3+ years of experience in Guidance Navigation and Control engineering.
Experience with Matlab/Simulink or MatrixX to model systems.

Responsibilities

Define GNC mission requirements and ensure traceability from system to component level.
Develop and refine a nonlinear 6 DoF simulation model using interdisciplinary data.
Code and test vehicle models and controllers in C, C++, FORTRAN, Python.
Design flight control laws using modern linear control techniques.
Perform model validation against test data to improve simulation accuracy.
Lead design reviews, analyses, simulations and component testing.
Train and coach teammates and colleagues.
