Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security in Berkeley, MO is seeking an Experienced/Senior Guidance Navigation and Control (GNC) Engineer to support the Flight Systems Engineering Capability for the T-7A Red Hawk program. This role involves defining requirements, developing nonlinear 6-DoF simulation models, and integrating control laws into flight software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of related work experience or equivalent.
• Experience with system and component modeling.
• Experience implementing algorithms in real-time systems.
• Proficiency in C/C#.
• Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink or MatrixX.

Responsibilities

• Gather, define and document GNC requirements and ensure traceability from system to components.
• Develop nonlinear 6 DoF simulation models using multidisciplinary data.
• Support design of flight control laws to meet performance targets.
• Validate models against test data and refine the simulation environment.
• Collaborate with flight simulation and VMS software engineers to implement control laws.
