Job summary

Poseidon Aerospace in the San Francisco Bay Area seeks a Senior GNC Engineer to own the GNC architecture for our autonomous cargo aircraft, deciding control, state estimation, and behavior during sensor or actuator failures.

You will lead design reviews, mentor engineers, and drive verification across simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, and flight testing to support a robust safety case and certification for the flight control system.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing guidance, navigation, or control systems for aircraft, spacecraft, or similar vehicles.
• Owned the GNC design for a vehicle or major flight phase from requirements through flight.
