Job summary

Varda Space Industries in El Segundo, California is looking for a Senior Guidance, Navigation, and Controls Engineer to oversee the entire GNC development lifecycle. You will design and implement advanced algorithms for satellite control, conduct system analyses and contribute to aerospace simulations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in aerospace engineering or PhD with 3+ years.
• Experience in designing, modeling, testing, and flying aerospace guidance systems.
• Proven system engineering and configuration management skills.

Responsibilities

• Specification of ADCS hardware performance.
• Design of autonomous satellite attitude control algorithms.
• Integration and testing of GNC sensors in hardware-in-the-loop.
