Job summary

The Boeing Company’s Experimental Systems Group (ESG) is hiring Guidance Navigation & Control Engineers (Experienced, Lead, Senior) to join our team in Seal Beach or El Segundo, CA or Denver, Colorado. You will design GN&C algorithms, build high-fidelity simulations, implement and test flight software, and support integration and flight test in space environments.

We are seeking individuals with a BS in engineering or related field, active Tier 5 clearance, and 5+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
• Active Tier 5 (T5) Clearance required.
• 5+ years of related work experience or equivalent.
• Experience with spacecraft systems.
• Proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink.
• Experience developing GN&C algorithms, models and simulations.

Responsibilities

• Designs, implements, and verifies GN&C algorithms for spacecraft.
• Develops and maintains 6-DOF dynamics simulations and analysis tools.
• Implements GN&C flight software (MATLAB/Simulink models and C/C++ prototypes) and integrates with testbeds.
• Applies astrodynamics and flight mechanics to mission design and trajectory optimization.
• Leads engineering project teams and mentors engineers.
