Job summary

Cimarron Software Services, Inc. is seeking a senior Guidance Navigation & Controls Engineer to rapidly prototype, develop, and field space and hypersonic capabilities.

You will design GN&C algorithms, build high-fidelity simulations, implement and test flight software, and support integration and flight test in atmospheric and space contexts. This role requires TS/SCI clearance, US citizenship, and 100% onsite work in California.

Qualifications

• GN&C algorithm design and validation experience.
• 6-DOF dynamics simulations development and analysis.
• Flight software integration and testing experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, CS, Math, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and verify GN&C algorithms for spacecraft and hypersonic platforms.
• Develop 6-DOF dynamics simulations and analysis tools.
• Implement GN&C flight software (MATLAB/Simulink models and C/C++ prototypes).
• Apply astrodynamics and trajectory optimization to missions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate tradeoffs.
