Job summary

Cimarron Inc. is seeking a senior-level Guidance Navigation & Controls Engineer to rapidly prototype, develop, and field novel space and hypersonic capabilities in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

You will design GN&C algorithms, build high-fidelity simulations, implement and test flight software, and support integration and flight tests in both atmospheric and space. Responsibilities include developing 6-DOF dynamics simulations, validating GN&C flight software, and collaborating

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen eligible due to facility security requirements.
• Active TS/SCI clearance or eligibility is required.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and GN&C development.

Responsibilities

• Design GN&C algorithms for spacecraft, re-entry vehicles, and hypersonic platforms.
• Develop 6-DOF dynamics simulations and analysis tools.
• Implement GN&C flight software with MATLAB/Simulink and C/C++ prototypes.
• Apply astrodynamics for mission design and trajectory optimization.
• Support flight tests, integration, and testbed activities.
• Collaborate with systems engineering, avionics, and test teams.
• Identify inefficiencies and develop reusable tools for rapid prototyping.
