Job summary

22nd Century Technologies Inc. seeks a Guidance, Navigation & Control Engineer to design, prototype, and field GN&C capabilities for spacecraft and hypersonic platforms. You will develop and verify 6 DOF dynamics, flight software, and related analysis tools to enable rapid iteration from prototype to flight test.

Strong MATLAB/Simulink proficiency, C/C++, and Python are required. Active TOP-SECRET clearance is preferred (SCI upgrade potential).

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field; 5–15+ years of relevant experience.
• Active TOP-SECRET clearance preferred; SCI upgrade potential.
• Experience with GN&C for spacecraft or aerospace vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and verify GN&C algorithms for spacecraft and hypersonic platforms.
• Develop 6 DOF dynamics simulations and analysis tools for mission assessment.
• Implement GN&C flight software and integrate with testbeds and avionics.
