Job summary

Merck in Durham, NC is seeking a skilled equipment maintenance professional to support our Manufacturing Division. You will install, repair and maintain GMP production equipment across utility and processing lines.

The role requires at least four years of related maintenance experience and DeltaV computer fluency. A high school diploma or GED is required, with a technical certificate or associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Education Minimum Requirement: High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred: Technical School Diploma or Associate Degree
• A minimum of four (4) years of equipment maintenance or related experience
• DeltaV knowledge and computer fluency

Responsibilities

• Must have knowledge installing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical related equipment throughout a Manufacturing environment to include utility equipment and GMP production related equipment
• Anticipates and solves complex production, maintenance, and operational problems, including off-shift and after hours support
• Improves business by streamlining work and identifying opportunities for projects
• Maintains equipment with PMs, documents work in SAP and supports equipment installations
• Provides technical guidance and maintenance training to others
