Job summary

Stantec seeks an experienced Commissioning/Validation Specialist to prepare and implement commissioning/validation plans for bio-pharma and GMP facilities. You will review designs, generate plans, and support client deliverables under the guidance of a director, working on renovations and large capital projects across North America.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical) and extensive travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred with emphasis in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical.
• Minimum of 10 years of related work experience.
• Travel to local office and client sites required.

Responsibilities

• Review shop drawings and equipment submittals for commissioning/validation.
• Prepare commissioning/validation plans, user requirements, and design specs.
• Assist with execution of project protocols and final reports.
• Support client communications and business development activities.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to align design intent.
• Attend project coordination meetings and manage scope/fee with PMs.
• Identify and flag technical problems and initiate corrective actions.
• Travel to project sites across North America as needed.
