Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks a senior-level GME Program Coordinator to lead strategic direction and oversight for residency and fellowship programs, working with the Program Director to develop and implement program strategy.

You will mentor junior coordinators, manage resident recruitment and onboarding, coordinate evaluations and accreditation activities, monitor budgets, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related field
• Associate's Degree + 3 additional years of direct experience may be accepted
• 4 years of direct experience as the primary GME program coordinator of an ACGME-accredited residency-fellowship program(s)

Responsibilities

• Leads strategic planning and development of the GME program in alignment with institutional goals.
• Oversees resident recruitment, selection, onboarding, and the educational experience.
• Leads the development and implementation of innovative educational strategies and program enhancements to improve resident learning and overall program quality.
• Oversees program evaluation, including resident and faculty feedback and data analysis.
• Leads accreditation activities, including site visits and self-studies, ensuring compliance with ACGME requirements.
• Provides mentorship and guidance to junior program coordinators and advises the Program Director on policies and strategic initiatives.
