Barron Industries in Oxford, MI is seeking a seasoned General Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations in our aerospace and defense-focused foundry. You will drive operational excellence, align resources with demand, and ensure 100% on-time delivery to a demanding customer base.

This hands-on leader will balance strategic planning with shop-floor execution, manage revenue and budgets, and lead cross-functional teams across casting, machining, engineering, and quality to optimize

Qualifications

• Proven leadership across multiple teams or facilities.
• Experience managing revenue, budgets, costs and delivery commitments using data.
• Ability to present operational and financial reports to executives.
• Lead and develop managers while delegating day-to-day production.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and manufacturing data for planning.
• Familiarity with aerospace/defense quality systems (AS9100, NADCAP, ITAR).

Responsibilities

• Set operating priorities and strategic plans with the President.
• Oversee revenue, budget, production, and delivery performance.
• Hold leaders accountable for productivity, quality, and costs.
• Plan capacity, staffing, inventory, and order backlog.
• Coordinate across casting, machining, quality, engineering, shipping.
• Review reports and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead customer meetings and address escalations.
• Collaborate on growth opportunities with executives.
• Ensure safety, quality, and ITAR/compliance.
