Barron Industries in Oxford, MI, is seeking an experienced Manager of Machining Operations to lead the build-out of an initial precision machining cell, select equipment, install, set up, and commission.

You will own the end-to-end machining process, review drawings, program CNC, set up tooling, and drive safe, repeatable production. Lead a growing team across two facilities, ensuring ITAR, ISO9001 and AS9100 compliance.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of experience in precision CNC machining.
• Hands-on CNC programming, setup, and operations.
• Experience leading machining teams across multiple facilities.
• Familiarity with ITAR, ISO9001, AS9100 is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Lead build-out and launch of the initial machining cell.
• Own the machining process end-to-end, including drawing review, CNC programming, setup, tooling, and hands-on machining.
• Develop and implement standardized workflows to support safe, efficient, and repeatable production.
• Bring the initial machining cell fully operational and capable of producing parts to specification within the first 90 days.
• Build, mentor, and lead a growing team of machinists and an Applications Specialist as capacity expands.
• Ensure all machining operations meet quality and compliance requirements including ITAR, ISO9001, and AS9100.
