Job summary

Exentec is seeking a Principal Water Systems Engineer to act as the senior technical authority for UPW, RO/DI, IWT, and wastewater treatment across semiconductor fabs, advanced manufacturing sites, and data centers.

You will provide global engineering leadership, define standards, lead investigations, ensure water quality and environmental compliance, mentor teams, and engage with clients to articulate Exentec’s capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering.
• 12+ years of UPW/RO/DI or high-purity water experience, semiconductor experience preferred.
• Expert knowledge of UPW, WWT and/or water reclamation.
• Willingness to travel 30–40% to support global sites.

Responsibilities

• Serve as global SME for UPW/RODI, IWT, and wastewater systems.
• Lead water quality standards and compliance with client specs.
• Develop reliable water infrastructure strategies including redundancy.
• Drive safety, environmental permits, and incident investigations.
• Mentor engineers and develop training and digital tools.
