Citi in New York is seeking a Core Trade Structuring Lead Specialist to advise Sales, Banking and Risk on structured core trade transactions, including LCs and guarantees. The role focuses on transaction design, risk allocation and documentation rather than sales origination.

You will lead multi‑jurisdiction deals, review trade documentation with Legal, and drive regional priorities while ensuring governance and controls across the portfolio.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years’ experience in trade finance with focus on structured transactions.
• Expertise in Letters of Credit, Guarantees and structured trade solutions.
• Background in leading client core trade relationships.

Mansioni

• Structure and execute complex, high‑value and non‑standard trade finance transactions.
• Lead structuring of transactions across multiple jurisdictions and counterparties.
• Draft, review and negotiate trade documentation (LMA‑style).
• Translate client needs into bankable trade structures with risk alignment.
• Provide technical guidance on risk allocation and documentation mechanics.
• Oversee end‑to‑end transaction structuring and handover to Operations.
