Job summary
Goldman Sachs is seeking a Vice President in the Bank Debt Portfolio Group (BDPG) within TERM in New York to lead the structuring, negotiation, and execution of complex LC transactions globally. You will serve as the SME on LC mechanics, credit agreements, and related texts, advising global CSG deal teams and clients.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Law, or related field; JD or MBA is a plus.
- 6–8+ years in structured trade finance, debt capital markets, leveraged finance, or LC/legal roles.
- Deep knowledge of ISP98, UCP600, URDG758 and LC documentation.
Responsibilities
- Structure LC facilities within complex debt transactions with global deal teams.
- Coordinate between front-office deal teams and LC Operations to translate deals into clear instructions.
- Review and negotiate standby LC language to mitigate operational, legal, and financial risks.
- Review and markup LC sections of Credit and Security Agreements and cash deposit/collateral agreements.
- Ensure instruments comply with local laws and regulatory frameworks across multiple jurisdictions.
- Apply international trade finance standards ISP98, UCP600, URDG758 to transactions.
