Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Sr Export Compliance Officer to ensure compliance with export laws, develop programs, and minimize risk. Hybrid work schedule with reporting to Export Compliance Manager, located at a Honeywell Aerospace site.

The role involves managing licenses, evaluating exemptions, strategizing for development programs, and supporting audits. A technical background and regulatory knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in export compliance or international trade.
• Experience with ITAR and EAR; familiarity with OFAC.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and manage export licenses and authorizations.
• Evaluate license exceptions and exemptions for proposed exports.
• Evaluate end-to-end export authorization strategy for development programs.
• Assist with export authorization post-approval strategy and conditions.
• Review export shipments in SAP-GTS against authorizations.
• Conduct export compliance reviews for related activities.
• Assist with export audits, assessments, investigations and disclosures.
• Provide guidance to stakeholders to enable collaboration between units and partners.
• Deliver export compliance training to Honeywell Aerospace groups.
