Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking an experienced Trade Compliance Investigator to lead investigations into export controls, sanctions, and related violations. You will coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Global Trade, review documents, and interview stakeholders to gather evidence.

Responsibilities include analyzing data, drafting disclosures, and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in trade compliance, export controls, or related investigative roles.
• Strong knowledge of international trade regulations including export controls and sanctions.
• Experience leading investigations involving ITAR/EAR, OFAC, and related areas.
• Experience drafting disclosures and regulatory filings to government bodies.
• Proficiency with trade compliance systems, case management, screening, and data analysis.
• Ability to guide corrective actions across enterprise processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct investigations related to trade compliance and sanctions.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Global Trade teams to gather evidence.
• Analyze transaction data, shipments, and screening results to identify violations.
• Prepare investigation reports with findings, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Ensure confidentiality, privilege, and proper evidence handling.
• Stay updated on evolving trade regulations and best practices.
• Provide guidance and training on investigation processes and policy requirements.
