Job summary

HII Mission Technologies in Pocasset, MA is seeking a Trade Compliance Manager to partner with program teams, supply chain, legal and business leaders to ensure compliant and efficient execution of international trade activities.

You will develop and manage export/import control processes to adhere to U.S. and foreign regulations across marketing, sales, supply chain and operations. This role drafts licenses, classifications, and compliance documentation.

Qualifications

• 4 years progressive experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 2 years with a Master’s degree or 8 years with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with ITAR and EAR regulations including exemptions and exceptions
• Experience with the classification of products and software
• Experience with U.S. Customs regulations
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Draft export and import licenses, commodity jurisdictions, permits and certifications.
• Review jurisdiction and classification, HTS classification, licensing strategies, and implement operational processes for trade compliance.
• Monitor import activities, provide clearance details and respond to broker information requests.
• Maintain trade compliance records per regulatory requirements.
• Assist Law Department and Corporate Trade Compliance Office in investigations and issue resolution.
• Advise internal customers on international marketing strategies.
