Job summary

Medtronic in the United States seeks a Sr. Compliance Manager, Global Trade Legal & Compliance to lead the development, execution, and continuous improvement of the global trade compliance program across businesses and geographies.

You will oversee policies, procedures, training, and controls governing import, export controls, and sanctions, while advising senior leaders on material trade risks and mitigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of global trade compliance experience in a large, complex corporate environment, or an advanced degree with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience with import/export controls, sanctions, investigations, or disclosures and governance of a compliance program.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and improvement of the enterprise global trade compliance program.
• Maintain global trade policies, procedures, standards, training, and governance to reflect current requirements.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate material trade compliance risks with cross-functional partners.
• Establish controls, remediation plans, and metrics to strengthen program effectiveness.
• Lead or coordinate responses to investigations, disputes, or voluntary disclosures.
• Provide strategic trade compliance guidance for business development and due diligence.
• Deliver concise guidance to senior leaders and ensure consistent execution across regions.
