Job summary

MKS Instruments is seeking a Sr. Import/Export Analyst to join the Global Trade Compliance team in Andover, MA.

You will classify products for import/export, support customs compliance, and implement export control requirements while partnering with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance teams. Responsibilities include HTS/ECCN classification, country of origin determinations, free trade agreement qualification, and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, international trade, logistics, or related field.
• 5+ years of import/export compliance or global trade operations experience.
• Strong HTS classification knowledge and export controls (ECCN).
• Experience with free trade agreements and regulatory requests (CF28/CF29).

Responsibilities

• Manage import and export compliance activities including HTS and ECCN classification.
• Support country of origin determinations and export license reviews.
• Perform product classifications from engineering specs and BOMs.
• Assist with trade compliance audits and data analytics to identify improvements.
• Respond to internal stakeholders and brokers on trade inquiries.
• Maintain trade compliance records and regulatory reporting.
