Job summary

Expedia Group is seeking a Payments Partnerships leader to define and execute strategic collaborations that enhance payment capabilities across markets. You will manage relationships with partners, align product and commercial objectives, and drive onboarding and ongoing performance.

The role requires deep experience in payments/fintech, strong cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to leverage AI/ML insights to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in business, finance, technology, payments.
• Significant experience in strategic partnerships, payments, fintech, financial services, product, or a related commercial and technical domain.
• Experience owning multi-partner or multi-service initiatives, including strategy, execution, stakeholder alignment, and operational performance.
• Strong analytical, commercial, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with sufficient technical aptitude to understand payment integrations, APIs, data flows, and operational dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute strategic payment-partnership strategies that strengthen Expedia Group’s payment capabilities and support business growth across relevant markets.
• Build and manage relationships with payment partners, aligning commercial objectives, product capabilities, operating models, and customer outcomes.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives spanning Payments, Product, Technology, Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance, and regional stakeholders to deliver partnership outcomes.
• Evaluate payment-market trends, partner capabilities, performance data, and customer needs to identify opportunities, resolve challenges, and inform strategic decisions.
• Drive partner onboarding, integration, launch, and ongoing operational performance, ensuring payment solutions are reliable, scalable, and aligned with business requirements.
• Safely integrates and operates AI/ML-enabled solutions that improve outcomes, including familiarity with AI-driven systems, tools, or workflows and applying AI/ML concepts to real-world products.
