Daikin Applied, the world’s largest HVAC company, is hiring a Strategic Sourcing Manager III in Plymouth, MN. In this role you will proactively manage direct material categories, build strategic supplier relationships, and drive cost improvements while ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

You will lead multi-tier supplier risk assessments, negotiate Master Supply Agreements, and support new product development across a global supply base, with a hybrid work arrangement in Minnesota.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or Finance.
• 12+ years of sourcing/procurement experience.
• 8+ years people leadership experience.
• Experience with domestic and international sourcing and supplier management.
• Experience creating and implementing category strategies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Mansioni

• Prepare and execute category strategies that mitigate supply risk and support growth.
• Assess multi-tiered supply chain risk and develop mitigation plans.
• Identify and develop strategic supplier relationships, including OEM partners.
• Understand supplier cost structures and market dynamics to optimize price and delivery.
• Implement CSR and green initiatives to improve footprint and compliance.
• Drive improvements in supplier performance via supplier development and QBRS.
