Job summary
Delinea is seeking a highly experienced, hands-on global SaaS and software transactions attorney to join our legal team. You will serve as the primary legal business partner to strategic and enterprise account sales, handling subtle, high-stakes negotiations in a fast-paced cybersecurity environment.
The role reports to the VP & AGC, Commercial and requires extensive in-house experience, cross‑functional collaboration, and the ability to manage risk while enabling revenue growth across global
Qualifications
- 15+ years of legal experience in business and transactional law in tech
- 10+ years negotiating large complex software/SaaS transactions with enterprise customers
- In-house experience required; law firm experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead global customer negotiations and deal management for complex software and services transactions
- Collaborate with sales leadership to align requirements and manage the deal pipeline
- Provide strategic legal counsel aligned with Delinea’s business objectives and risk management
- Support M&A integration activities and other commercial transactions
- Work with cross-functional teams on finance, operations, and compliance considerations
- Advise on international cross-border software licensing and data privacy issues
- Identify and report trends to influence commercial strategy and risk controls
- Develop and deliver legal enablement, training, and guidelines
- Support process automation and continuous improvement initiatives
