Job summary

Amazon's Global Procurement Organization is seeking a senior procurement leader to manage Renewables, Storage, and Mobility categories across North America, LATAM, Europe, and ME. You will lead six category managers and shape sourcing strategy for solar, wind, battery storage, and hydrogen, aligning with sustainability and financial goals.

The role focuses on building scalable playbooks, negotiating multi-year agreements, and piloting innovative programs like virtual power plants to turn assets

Qualifications

• 5+ years cross-functional experience with tech and non-tech teams.
• 5+ years of team management experience.
• 5+ years of cross-functional project delivery experience.
• 5+ years of relevant strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, and process improvement.
• Experience defining program requirements and using data/metrics for improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of category managers across solar, wind, battery storage, and hydrogen.
• Define and drive multi-year sourcing strategy across regions and subcategories.
• Oversee portfolio tenders, supplier consolidation, and contract negotiations across capex, PPAs, and operating leases.
• Build business cases and financial models for senior leadership with clear investment recommendations.
• Drive revenue generation initiatives including virtual power plants and grid services to transform the portfolio from cost center to profit center.
