Shield AI is seeking a Proposal Specialist to support US federal and international government proposals and related BD deliverables for the ASME GTM team. The role emphasizes leadership, precise coordination, and high-quality, timely submissions in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 2–4+ years in government proposal development or BD operations, with strong communication and attention to detail. A bachelor’s degree and experience with Shipley are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of U.S. Federal or international government proposal development or BD operations experience.
• In lieu of direct government proposal experience, 3+ years working with U.S. Federal or international government requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in business, communication, marketing, engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong academic record.
• Experience with proposal methodologies (e.g. Shipley) and compliance matrices.
• Proven leadership in a professional setting.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Lead ASME proposal efforts and align stakeholders.
• Drive end-to-end proposal execution from pre-RFP planning to submission.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver compliant submissions on schedule.
• Improve proposal processes, templates, and best practices.
• Mentor contributors and foster high-performing teams.
• Support GTM engagements with briefing and presentation development.
• Assist customer meetings, demos, and GTM events as needed.
• Provide additional support to BD Ops and GTM leadership.
