Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale programs within Global Business Services (GBS), spanning Finance, HR, and Procurement. Translate priorities into structured programs and guide cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, matrixed global environment.

This role offers hybrid work arrangements and is based in Dallas, TX or Glen Allen, VA, with a compensation range of USD 130,000 to USD 175,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field plus at least 8 years of progressive project management experience, including 3 years in a Global Business Services or global transformation environment.
• Proven track record of delivering complex, global, multi-functional projects on time and within budget.
• Experience in a matrixed, global organization with cross-functional teams and senior-leader interaction.
• Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills at all levels, including executives.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira and collaboration platforms (Teams, SharePoint).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional projects within the GBS portfolio.
• Manage scope, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations across regions.
• Implement governance frameworks and performance tracking; drive program discipline.
• Provide strategic direction for program delivery and regional scalability.
• Develop and evolve program management tools and methodologies.
