Job summary

Evapco Dry Cooling, Inc. in Bridgewater, NJ is seeking a full-time Purchaser to source goods/services, negotiate with suppliers, manage purchase orders, and ensure timely delivery at competitive prices while upholding quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of purchasing experience in an industrial sector, with an Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred. The role supports an employee-owned culture with profit sharing and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of proven purchasing experience in an industrial sector.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred; high school or equivalent considered.
• Strong negotiation, data analysis and supplier evaluation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate suppliers.
• Prepare and issue RFQs to suppliers.
• Compile bid tabs for competitiveness and accuracy.
• Negotiate terms, price, delivery, and scope with suppliers.
• Prepare, review, and issue Purchase Orders.
• Expedite suppliers and monitor delivery of equipment and materials.
• Manage accounts payable, review invoices, and maintain records.
• Resolve disputes with suppliers and support procurement governance.
• Occasional travel to supplier facilities domestically and internationally.
• Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with project requirements.
