Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Manager, Pricing Strategy/Planning to design and implement pricing strategies that grow client business and profitability.

You will monitor pricing trends, assess margin impacts, and provide recommendations on price changes from sales while tracking global market dynamics and competitor pricing. You will collaborate with global sales, finance, and operations to drive results in a fast-paced high-tech environment, leveraging knowledge of PC markets

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in the job offered or a closely related engineering or management role.
• Alternate combination of education and experience: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent and six years of progressive post baccalaureate experience.
• Position requires four years of experience in: business planning, strategy, high tech, PC market, OEM/MNC PC makers, data analysis, and executive-ready presentations.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop and implement pricing strategies to grow Client business and profitability.
• Monitor, track pricing trends and report on performance and competitiveness globally.
• Evaluate price change requests from sales and assess margin impact and volume effects.
• Track market trends and competitor prices to stay current.
• Build relationships with global sales, finance, business unit and operations teams to enable teamwork.
