Job summary

Finastra is seeking a Principal Global Solutions Consultant for Payments to work remotely in the US as a full-time member of the Americas team. You will lead pre-sales efforts, demonstrate product capabilities, and collaborate with sales, partners, and customers to drive opportunities.

A strong payments/fintech background and excellent communication are essential. In this role you’ll shape solutions across banking, payments rails, and related technology, while supporting RFX responses, PoC

Qualifications

• Banking or Financial Technology experience strongly preferred, ideally in Payments product management, operations, and/or solution consultancy/presales
• Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with proven presentation abilities
• Robust problem-solving and decision-making skills; able to work independently in a dynamic environment
• Ability to engage internal stakeholders and work with cross-functional teams
• Proven track record in sales or technical sales support across presales lifecycle

Responsibilities

• Support Finastra’s sales force by guiding the customer journey with product knowledge in Payments
• Lead pre-sales activities, demos, RFI/RFP participation, and PoC execution
• Develop and communicate sales strategies and value propositions to clients and management
• Collaborate with sales, product management, services, and support teams across the Americas
• Navigate complex scenarios to deliver actionable deliverables and proposals
