Job summary

Scientific Search seeks a Senior Clinical Trial Manager to lead start-up and execution of large, global oncology trials from its Boston area base. You will manage CROs and external vendors, oversee timelines and budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance in a fully outsourced model.

The role requires 7+ years in trials, CRO management, and strong cross‑functional collaboration. The position offers a fast-paced, entrepreneurial biotech environment with global study oversight and travel;

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• 7+ years of applicable clinical trial experience.
• At least 5 years of CRO and vendor management experience.
• Experience managing Phase III oncology clinical trials required.
• Experience operating within a fully outsourced clinical trial model.
• Thorough knowledge of FDA, EMA, ICH and GCP requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex study timelines, budgets, vendors, and priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Support the overall management of global clinical trials from planning to closeout.
• Lead operational activities aligned with development plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Evaluate and oversee CROs, vendors, and external consultants.
• Ensure CRO/vendor deliverables meet quality and regulatory expectations.
• Contribute to development and review of clinical documents (protocols, ICFs, IBs, reports).
• Review study plans and ensure audit-ready Trial Master File documentation.
• Monitor progress and provide regular reports on timelines, budgets, risks, and milestones.
