Job summary

Wabtec in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an MRO Commodity Manager within Indirect Sourcing. You will lead cross-functional teams to implement global strategies regionally, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost reductions across assigned spend categories.

The role expects 5+ years in sourcing, a strong track record in supplier evaluation and negotiations, and proficient use of ERP/eSourcing tools. A hybrid work model with some travel is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• At least 5 years in sourcing or procurement.
• Experience in supplier relationship management and KPI/performance management.
• Ability to lead supplier evaluation, selection, negotiation and implementation.
• Strong analytical and financial analysis skills.
• Ability to lead complex global or regional teams and manage projects.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement strategic plans delivering 3-5% annual improvement in spends.
• Lead MRO category and regional implementations to align with global strategies.
• Run data analysis and adjust supplier panels to improve cost and service levels.
• Plan and execute quarterly business reviews with suppliers.
• Coordinate regional projects and buyers for categories outside global scope.
