Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking a Program Manager to lead the DDC MatCo Program, coordinating procurement, engineering, cost engineering, quality, logistics and global powertrain stakeholders to identify and mature material cost reduction measures.

The role requires establishing disciplined governance, transparent reporting, and driving cross-functional teams from idea generation through implementation and financial realization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience.
• 3+ years of project/program management of cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience in automotive, commercial vehicle, powertrain, manufacturing or procurement environments.
• Understanding of tariffs, trade compliance, USMCA/regional value content, localization, and total landed cost.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead DDC MatCo program governance, meeting cadence, decision pathways and workstreams for Procurement teams.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities with global Powertrain organization and DTNA standards.
• Prepare and deliver program status reports and management presentations on pipeline maturity, financial impact and risks.
• Drive accountability with clear deliverables, action tracking, and escalation while balancing competing priorities.
