Job summary

Gratz Pilates, LLC. is seeking a Senior Logistics Specialist to oversee complex domestic and international shipments, including trade compliance and documentation. You will lead initiatives, mentor staff, and collaborate across departments to optimize logistics operations.

You will serve as the go-to expert on export carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers, addressing escalations and driving cost savings while ensuring compliance with trade regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of logistics experience covering both domestic and international freight.
• Strong knowledge of LTL, truckload, parcel, ocean, and air freight.
• Solid understanding of Incoterms, import/export documentation, and customs clearance.
• Experience analyzing freight costs and supporting carrier negotiations.
• Advanced proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel; Epicor Kinetic is valued.
• Ability to independently resolve complex shipping challenges.
• Strong communication and cross-department collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex domestic and international shipments, resolving issues.
• Provide trade compliance leadership for imports/exports and manage HTS/Schedule B classifications.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers for bookings and clearance.
• Advise on Incoterms and shipping lead times to Sales and Customer Service.
• Lead improvement projects and mentor colleagues across departments.
