Job summary

You will lead negotiations for transportation service agreements, review contracts, and influence cost management while coordinating with Sales, SIOP and finance teams.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in business or related field (MBA preferred) and at least 10 years of logistics experience across ocean, rail, and air.

Qualifications

• MBA or master’s degree in transportation management preferred.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in logistics, with ocean, rail, or air exposure.

Responsibilities

• Develops strategies to optimize customer requirements, transportation and production in global markets.
• Oversees negotiations and management of transportation service agreements and freight terms.
• Review, analyze, revise, negotiate and construct contracts for approvals; work with Legal on compliance.
• Monitor logistics markets, forecast impacts, and provide input to budgets and monthly forecasts.
• Lead supplier performance management and cost-reduction initiatives across the supplier base.
